About the Tutor
Sean has been tutoring the essentials of high school Spanish for over 30 years. His early efforts as a student with the Spanish language, however, were less than stellar. He struggled with a pronounced case of ADHD. In his first year at Joaquin Moraga, his comprehension was poor enough to warrant a parent-teacher conference. Some might say there was a detention or two thrown in there, and they might not be wrong.
Sean’s attention issues followed him to Campolindo High School. His grades got even worse as the demands of high school Spanish became more intense. Yet, when he collaborated with his Spanish teacher, new academic abilities emerged. He learned powerful memory techniques. He learned how to analyze his own studying style. Today, Sean models these same attainable goals for his students. Along with real world language skills, these are the practical characteristics your teenager can use in high school, in college, and into adulthood.
